I walked down the dirt road today that I live on like I do every day to my mailbox, and took this photo of how quiet the main road is that I live off of. I hope they don't build anything out here anytime soon. I like keeping the entrance to my property private from prying people..
I like this. When I was a teen we spent 5-6 months (late spring to early fall) in rural western Indiana. It was this removed from everything. I loved it. It is a whole different world & you learn things about life that are drown out byvthe din of a big city.
