A Day in a Hen's Life

Took time to look into what the hens were doing, and of course they are eating as they do all day. I feed them seeds, corn, grain and greens, and they love it.

Greens From the Garden

I picked some kale leaves and curly lettuce leaves from the garden for salads for dinner. I have so much of it, will be eating a lot of salads. Should be getting carrots and tomatoes from the garden soon.

A look at the garden today, been eating greens. lettuce and kale now...even found a green tomato on a couple of the tomato plants.

Time to Eat Some Greens

I have started pulling greens, kale and lettuce from the garden to eat some great salads, wow those leaves get big, must be this country soil out here that has not been used in a while. And these mustard greens are even flowering.
