The Hand

I finally gave up fighting it and trying to heal my injured left hand, saw a specialist today and got a cortisone shot in the joint of my left thumb and this huge wrap around my arm. I tried to let heal a torn ligament in the joint of my thumb and combine that with arthitis in the joint (with it coming in other joints also), and I gave up after two months. My use of my left hand is on hold now for a month..

  2. Ouch. Toen ligaments at any age are painful....and at our age take a long time to heal. See a specialist must have been hard, I get that, I am one of the tough ones too. (Been avoiding heart docs for just over a year, do not want to hear what they are going to say.) But truthfully, I am glad went. Anything taking that long to heal needs help. You are moved, most major projects on your property before winter are done, relax and heal....you have earned it.
